An open letter to Willingboro residents

OPEN LETTER TO THE RESIDENTS OF WILLINGBORO TOWNSHIP

December 6, 2016

Dear Resident,

I first want to thank those who attended the WMUA meeting last night.  Since the agenda was limited to the proposed rates for 2017, we intend on scheduling an open public forum to cover the other items raised at the meeting.  We will email notice directly to those who left their email address and through our website. If you want to be included on our email list, kindly contact my office at andrew@wmua.info

I also want to thank the residents for their input and suggestions. We will try and respond to some of your individual concerns as soon as possible. In the meantime, our website will soon be dedicating more space to answer the general questions raised at last night’s meeting.  Others will be addressed at the next public forum which we anticipate to announce before the end of year.

It is important for the community to understand the requirements the WMUA are required to follow and the balance between maintaining low affordable rates with safe, reliable drinking water and wastewater treatment. The WMUA is owned by the residents of Willingboro and we want to insure you are fully informed of the complexities and challenges facing this operation.

Thanks again for your continued support and participation.

Best regards.

Andrew Weber, Executive Director

Willingboro Municipal Utilities Authority
