NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE WILLINGBORO
MUNICIPAL UTILITIES AUTHORITY
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Commissioners of the Willingboro Municipal Utilities Authority will hold a Special Meeting on November 29, 2023, at 6pm via a remote meeting platform. The purpose of this Special Meeting is to
- Provide a presentation concerning the draft proposed Water Rates, Sewer Rates, flat fees, and Bulk Water Rates for 2024.
- Conduct a Public Hearing held in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Utilities Authority Law, N.J.S.A. 40:14B-21 & 22 et seq., to solicit comments from the public concerning rate changes and associated rule amendments.
- Discuss a report from the Executive Director for November 2023
- Discuss the Treasurer’s report for November 2023
- Discuss committee reports and recommendations including, but not limited to,
- Personnel Committee recommendation regarding Administrative Assistant position
- Policy Committee
- Operations Committee
- Receive, review, and vote on resolutions regarding:
- Authorizing Payment of Bill List for November 29, 2023
- Approving Corrective Action Plan for 2022 Audit
- Providing for the Creation of the Position of Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director, Defining the Duties and Fixing the Salary Range
- Awarding a Contract for the Water Tank 2 Edge Lane Rehabilitation Project, Subject to NJDEP Approval
- Authorizing the Purchase of a Dyna-Vac Rhino RH-100 Easement Reel Mover through the Educational Services Commission of New Jersey with Tri State Environmental Services LLC
- Authorizing an Emergency Contract Pursuant to the applicable provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law to Award a Contract for Supervision, Labor, and Equipment to Remove and Replace Two Flanged Reducing Elbows
- Authorizing the Purchase of Two Flanged Reducing Elbows through the North Jersey Wastewater Cooperative Pricing System with Raritan Group Inc. a Contract Participant in the North Jersey Wastewater Cooperative Pricing System, Contract #B352-2
Formal action may be taken. Members of the public may participate by joining the meeting and utilizing the access information posted on the Willingboro Municipal Utilities Authority website at www.wmua.info. that is copied below. In addition, the Board of Commissioners may adopt a Resolution to hold a portion of the meeting in closed session pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:4-12b should the need arise.
