Vic DeMaise started working for the WMUA in 1993 as a Sewer Maintenance Worker. “Applying himself” and working hard he was able to obtain the S1, S2, S3, C2, C3 and C4 licenses from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection in record breaking time. . “I worked myself up through the ranks from Sewer Maintenance Worker to Senior Sewer Maintenance Worker to supervising Pump Station Operator up to supervising Sewer Plant Operator and then to Chief Operator and finally to Superintendent.”
Vic moved to Willingboro in 1961 graduated John F Kennedy High School and enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1970. Vic enrolled part-time at Burlington County College studying business administration and electronics. After a brief stint working in the private sector, Vic landed a job at the WMUA in 1993.
In Vic’s very limited free time, he enjoys going down the shore and surf fishing. He enjoys playing with his grandchildren and playing guitar. “I’m married to a wonderful woman Nina and I have 3 sons, a stepson, a stepdaughter and a total of 9 grandchildren.”
